Charity Partnerships

At Cognitive Law, supporting charities is an important part of who we are. It aligns with our core ethos – to make life easier – not only for our clients and our consultants, but also within the wider community.

As a consultancy law firm, we empower our consultants with the flexibility to work in a way that suits their lives. This means they have the time and freedom to champion causes close to their hearts. The charities we support reflect the personal passions of our team, as well as shared firm-wide commitments.

Whether through fundraising, raising awareness, or acting as ambassadors, we are proud to play our part in helping these organisations thrive. This is also part of how we want to grow as a firm. We believe a successful business should have a positive impact beyond the work it does for clients. That is why our charity partnerships, volunteering, local supplier commitments and B Corp journey all form part of the bigger picture at Cognitive Law.

Here is a little bit about the charities we support.

St Barnabas House - Hospice Care

St Barnabas House is the hospice for the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas. Thanks to support from the local community, people with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones can enjoy life as fully as possible, for the time they have left together. They care passionately about the difference they can make, and always place patients at the heart of everything they do. Their mission is to provide dignity and comfort for adults who need our specialised, supportive care. Since they were founded over 50 years ago, they’ve cared for 47,043 people from the local community. Find out more about St Barnabas here.

George's Rockstars

Helping kids rock!

George’s Rockstars was set up in memory of 6 year old Gorgeous George. Their mission is to make children in hospitals smile through the power of music therapy.

Music Therapists know that being in hospital or living with a long term condition might bring up lots of different feelings and can be difficult and scary. Music therapy is an amazing way to help both children and their families explore and express their feelings without having to put them into words – and it can also be lots of fun! Focus Foundation

Focus Foundation exist purely to support Grassroot Charities and enable our communities to thrive.

Grassroots charities are often the first to respond in times of crisis, providing critical services that have a big impact on people in the community. Yet, these charities face severe underfunding and therefore, with a lack of resources feel the increased pressure on their services.

As the philanthropic heart of Focus Group – a leader in business technology solutions – the Foundation works to level up the funding playing field, while constantly looking to create meaningful collaborations to improve lives and create lasting impact.
