Myth #1

You will have to work harder

You will work smarter, but not harder. Flexible working means you can get more done in less time, without a commute at either end of the day.

Myth #2

You will earn less

It’s actually up to you how much you earn. The harder you work, the more you earn. Cognitive Law will pay you at up to 70% of your paid fees.

Myth #3

Your career is over

Not at all. None of our solicitors have a reduction in their professional profile by becoming a consultant. They are still as pro-active in pursuing their careers, without having to worry about a corporate ladder to climb.

Myth #4

You will lose your status

You will always be a solicitor, no one is going to take that away from you. The flat structure of Cognitive Law treats every solicitor the same.

Myth #5

You will be lonely

Not with Cognitive Law. We have a buzzy head office with hot desk facilities, and regular consultant meetings & lunches. Solicitors pop in and out of the office whenever they feel like it, and we’re always on the other end of the phone.

Myth #6

You will have no support

Our consultants are given as much or as little support as they need. Every consultant has one to one training on the case management system, and a bespoke marketing plan created with them.

Myth #7

You won’t have any work

Solicitor’s clients are actually very loyal, and typically follow solicitors from firm to firm. We will also work with you to build your client base, and foster a strong inter-firm referral scheme.
