After completing the Legal Practice Course in 1999, David went to work for a major high street private bank as an Investment Manager. David then went on to work as a Tax Advisor for a large Accountancy firm advising Individuals (Domiciled and Non-Domiciled) and Trustees (UK and Non-UK) on their UK tax obligations. David returned to the legal profession in 2016 qualifying as a Solicitor in 2018.
David advises individuals and couples in relation to preparing tax efficient Wills, the administration of an Estate, drafting powers of attorney, setting up and administering Trusts and general tax planning. David also advises both Trustees and Executors on their reporting requirements to HM Revenue and Customs. David is able to explain the complex legal procedures in a straightforward manner to ensure that clients are kept informed at every stage of the steps being undertaken.
David is a full member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) which means that David is a senior and experienced practitioner in the field of trusts and estates.
Outside of work David enjoys catching up with family and friends both in the UK and overseas, trying to fit the odd round of golf and attending sporting events as a spectator.
